Director Construction
Engr. Abul Hossain Khan Mamun is a highly experienced and respected civil engineer with over 32 years of dedicated service in the field of building construction. Known for his hardworking nature, sincerity, and excellent leadership, he has become a trusted figure in Bangladesh’s construction industry.
His academic foundation in civil engineering, combined with hands-on experience across various complex projects, has shaped him into a dynamic professional capable of managing all phases of construction—from concept and design coordination to execution and handover.
Throughout his distinguished career, Md. Engr. Abul Hossain Khan Mamun has played pivotal roles in the development of some of the country's most iconic buildings. His early experience included overseeing the construction of several residential buildings in Banani, Gulshan, and Baridhara, working his way up from site engineer to project engineer at Borak Real Estate Ltd.
An accomplished engineer, he served as the Head of Construction at Borak Pvt. Ltd., where he led the development of Unique Acropolis — a landmark 27-storey mixed-use high-rise comprising a hotel, commercial spaces, and service apartments. The project also includes six levels of basement construction and is in the prestigious area of Gulshan-2, Dhaka. His unwavering dedication and proven ability led him to become the Project In-Charge for The Westin Dhaka, one of Bangladesh’s most prestigious five-star hotels—a role in which he demonstrated exceptional capability in managing international standards of construction.
He continued to rise through the ranks, eventually taking on senior leadership roles such as Deputy General Manager, Head of Construction, and later Director of Construction for major developments. Notably, he led the construction of Hotel Sheraton Dhaka, Borak Mehnur, and numerous high-rise projects under Borak Real Estate and Unique Group.
From 2020 to 2023, he served as the Director of Construction at Splash Works Water Park Ltd., where he oversaw the construction of one of Asia’s largest water parks, including hotels and marine attractions spread over 150 bighas of land—a true testament to his ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
